This painting was painted at the Shatter Festival. After I had finished painting and stepped off the platform, a prophet came up to the Mic. and began to tell of a vision. He said that he saw a wind coming from the mouth of God and that it had the force of a nuclear bomb, lighting people on fire. Before his word I didn't think much of the painting . It's not very pretty...but I guess prophetic isn't always pretty.

I saw the Devil walking away in disgust..... The day will come when he walks from his bride and Jesus will take her back.......The battle belongs to the Lord!!!!!!!!

There were somethings that bother me about the bride in this painting. She isn't looking at Jesus, in fact she seems a little cold. There is a lot of green and yellow in her gown. I believe God was showing me that there is a lot of jealousy in the church today, that we all need to get together and function in unity. I believe she talks a good story but they are just shallow words.... Her heart isn't truly on Him.

This painting was a cry of desperation to God. There are probably a million painters out there, what's so special about me? What can I do that would make my art different? My wife Kathy told me that there are millions of souls each one is different. Meaning that regardless of what I did it would be different because I did it. I heard paint souls. So I did, this is the very first attempt at painting the spiritual world. When I saw Jesus in the top left corner with eyes of fire, I thought the painting was done. This painting shows the battle of good and evil and the triumph brought by the Holy Spirit. I believe my painting has come along way since then as has my search for the flow of the Holy Spirit and my pursuit of God's will for me.

I had a lot of fun painting this one. When I had finished, a very skeptical man asked what it was supposed to be, in a very nasty tone of voice. A silver haired Pentecostal woman said," don't you know what that is? Its the spirit of God". Led by The Holy Spirit, she came to my defence. Often we forget that Jesus is our great defender.
